Follow this step by step guide:

  1. From the Main Menu scroll to hover over Settings.

  1. Click on My Fire TV.
  1. Choose Developer Options.

  1. Click Apps from Unknown Sources.

  1. Choose Turn On.

  1. Return to the Home Screen and click on the search icon and then type “Downloader” in the search box.

  1. Select the Downloader app and install it.

  1. Click Open.

  1. Select Allow if presented with this prompt.

Congratulations! You have successfully enabled unknown sources on your Firestick. This allows you to install apps not available directly on the Amazon App Store.
